That includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>NFA Division<\/strong> (no commercial processing of suppressor, SBR, or SBS forms)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Imports Branch<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Firearms and Ammunition Technology Division (FATD)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Federal Firearms Licensing Center (FFLC)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Forms and applications can still be submitted, but don\u2019t expect them to move forward until funding is restored. In short: if it touches commercial activity, it\u2019s going dark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-this-means-for-suppressor-buyers\">What This Means for Suppressor Buyers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The American Suppressor Association (<a href=\"https:\/\/americansuppressorassociation.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"shutdown-fallout-what-it-means-for-you\" title=\"Shutdown Fallout: What It Means for You!\">ASA<\/a>) is sounding the alarm for buyers stuck in ATF\u2019s already glacial NFA process. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the eForms system will remain online, pending applications won\u2019t move. New submissions will be accepted, tax stamps can be paid, and certifications filed, but approvals are frozen until ATF staff return.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ASA\u2019s blunt response highlights the bigger issue: your constitutional rights should not be subject to the whims of Washington gridlock. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis stands as a stark reminder of why ASA is determined to remove suppressors from the NFA once and for all,\u201d the group wrote in a press release obtained by GunsAmerica. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-why-this-matters\">Why This Matters<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The shutdown may last days, or weeks. If it drags on, ATF could eventually get clearance to resume some commercial processing, but there\u2019s no timeline and no guarantee. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That leaves dealers, manufacturers, and customers hanging \u2014 and it shows how fragile access to basic 2A rights becomes when unelected bureaucrats can hit \u201cpause\u201d on the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gun owners and industry groups alike are united on one point: this mess underscores why suppressors, SBRs, and other NFA items should never have been under ATF\u2019s discretionary control to begin with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-final-word\">Final Word<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For now, expect delays in NFA approvals, licensing renewals, and imports.
