Springfield Armory has added a new twist to its Echelon pistol<\/a> line with the launch of the Echelon 4.0C Comp 9mm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This compact, carry-focused pistol features an integral compensator designed to tame muzzle rise and speed up follow-up shots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Built for Carry, Tuned for Control<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The new model keeps the 4-inch barrel profile of the Echelon 4.0C but adds a single-port compensator built right into the hammer-forged barrel and slide. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

By venting gas upward, the pistol promises more control without the bulk of a screw-on comp. The front sight sits behind the port, giving shooters an uninterrupted sight picture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Core Design Features<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At the center of the 4.0C Comp is Springfield\u2019s Central Operating Group. This serialized stainless steel chassis drops easily into different grip modules<\/a>, letting users adapt the gun without a gunsmith. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It ships with a small grip module and three backstraps, while medium and large frames can be picked up separately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Springfield\u2019s Variable Interface System returns here, making optic mounting easier with self-locking pins that adjust to fit most popular footprints. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The setup ensures a consistent point of impact without adapter plates. The pistol also comes standard with U-Dot sights \u2014 a tritium\/luminescent front and U-notch rear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
