Springfield Armory just added serious firepower to its roster. World champion shooter, author, and U.S. Army veteran Julie Golob is now officially part of the Springfield family as a professional shooter and brand ambassador \u2014 and she\u2019s bringing decades of skill, competition wins, and leadership to the role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Golob\u2019s resume is nothing short of legendary. A former member of the elite U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit<\/a>, she\u2019s racked up more than 170 championship titles across seven different shooting disciplines. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the Bianchi Cup to Steel Challenge, USPSA, IDPA, and IPSC, she\u2019s dominated at every level \u2014 even earning the title of U.S. Army Female Athlete of the Year. She\u2019s also the first and only USPSA Ladies National Champion<\/a> in all seven divisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond her competition wins, Golob is a powerhouse advocate for firearm safety, conservation, and shooting sports. She\u2019s taught and inspired countless shooters as an instructor, consultant, and speaker, and her published works \u2014 including a beginner\u2019s guide to the shooting sports and a children\u2019s book on firearm safety \u2014 have helped bring new voices into the 2A community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, she\u2019s joining forces with another Springfield legend, pro shooter Rob Leatham, to represent the brand on the range, in the field, and online. Her role will include professional competition, content creation, and even helping shape Springfield\u2019s future product development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
