Problem is, his tag didn\u2019t cover that part of the state. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So what did he do? Drove to Oklahoma and fraudulently tagged the deer there. Classic poacher move.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then \u2014 just eight days later \u2014 he shot another antlered buck near Wakeeney. This time, his tag was legit for the area, but Kansas law clearly limits hunters to one antlered deer per season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jennings shot two. That\u2019s a major violation, especially for someone who claims to represent ethical hunting on national TV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-see-also-made-for-you-browning-28-gauge-citori-725-field\">SEE ALSO: <a href=\"https:\/\/gunsamerica.com\/digest\/hunt365-browning-28-gauge-citori-725-field-reveiw\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"hunt365-hunting-show-host-busted-banned-for-life-in-kansas\" title=\"Hunting Show Host Busted, Banned for Life in Kansas\">Made For You: Browning 28-Gauge Citori 725 Field<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To make matters worse, both illegal hunts ended up featured on episodes of <em>\u201cThe Game.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The feds weren\u2019t amused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/gunsamerica.com\/digest\/federal-judge-blocks-grizzly-hunt\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"hunt365-hunting-show-host-busted-banned-for-life-in-kansas\" title=\"Hunting Show Host Busted, Banned for Life in Kansas\" data-wpil-monitor-id=\"218\">federal judge<\/a> ordered Jennings to pay $15,000 in restitution to the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks, plus a $10,000 fine. He\u2019ll also have to surrender the antlers from both bucks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During his five-year probation, Jennings can\u2019t hunt, fish, trap, or guide \u2014 and he\u2019s banned from tagging along with <em>anyone<\/em> doing so in Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, Oklahoma, Colorado, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Minnesota.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This case was investigated by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and Kansas wildlife officers, with help from law enforcement agencies in six other states. Assistant U.S. Attorney Matt Treaster prosecuted the case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bottom line: if you\u2019re going to preach fair chase and conservation on camera, don\u2019t break the law off-camera. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ethical hunters don\u2019t bend the rules \u2014 and they sure don\u2019t try to cover it up in post-production.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"
