For those obsessed with Multicam, and let\u2019s face it, everybody you really want to know is, the Sigurd shirts are a good addition to one\u2019s Multicam wardrobe. As you may recall from my Christmas gift guide<\/a> last year, the Sigurd shirts from 5.11 are excellent for use in hot weather. They block the sun, keep you cool, and don\u2019t get stinky. Now they are available in Multicam!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fabric Variety<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

These Multicam wonders are made from a stretchy fabric (78% nylon\/ 22% elastane mesh) with something called Cryo-Tac\u2122 properties. Key features of the fabric are its effective moisture-wicking and anti-odor properties. I\u2019ve worn the Ranger green version kayaking in the hot sun, and it absolutely performed; I was cool and fresh all day long despite the heat<\/a> and intense exercise. The little holes in the fabric mean there\u2019s no SPF rating, but Sigurd shirts certainly afford decent sun protection in my personal experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Athletic Cut<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Sigurd has an athletic cut with flat seams, and it is so light it seems like it\u2019s not there. Shoulder loop patches give you the option of a morale patch. These shirts are great for warm-weather activities that require camouflage, range of motion, or an advanced coolness factor.
