He didn\u2019t jump. He was pushed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hogg had reportedly angered party leadership by pushing a $20 million plan to primary establishment Democrats with younger progressive candidates. The backlash was swift \u2014 and internal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>DNC members voted to force new elections for key positions, including Hogg\u2019s.
