This wasn\u2019t just about limiting or regulating. The administration called for a full ban\u2014and by implication, confiscation\u2014of the most popular rifles in America. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over 30 million <a href=\"https:\/\/gunsamerica.com\/search?keyword=modern%20sporting%20rifles\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"feds-targeted-lawful-gun-owners-in-sweeping-domestic-terror-plan\" title=\"Feds Targeted Lawful Gun Owners in Sweeping 'Domestic Terror' Plan\">Modern Sporting Rifles<\/a> (MSRs) are in civilian hands. According to the report, that alone makes those owners \u201cdangerous.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They didn\u2019t stop at rifles. The plan also called for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>National promotion of red flag laws\u2014laws that strip citizens of gun rights without due process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A full-out war on privately made firearms, even though Americans have been making guns in their homes since before the nation was founded.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Government-led programs to monitor and \u201cintervene\u201d with individuals based on political beliefs, gun ownership, or mental health evaluations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-surveillance-tracking-and-watchlisting\">Surveillance, Tracking, and Watchlisting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This wasn\u2019t just rhetoric. Under this rule, even showing a firearm to a friend could classify you as a dealer requiring a license.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>The Biden administration tried to rewrite gun laws through executive fiat.
