South Dakota Governor Larry Rhoden made it clear this week that the Mount Rushmore State isn’t backing down on gun rights. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

During a stop at Boyd\u2019s Gunstock in Mitchell, part of his \u201cOpen for Opportunity\u201d tour, Rhoden signed three pro-Second Amendment bills<\/a> into law\u2014further cementing the state\u2019s reputation as one of the most gun-friendly in the nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOne of my favorite things about South Dakota is how free we are \u2013 especially when it comes to the freedom to keep and bear<\/a> arms,\u201d Gov. Rhoden said<\/a> during the signing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe have taken greater actions to defend our Second Amendment rights than any other state,” he added. “As long as I am Governor, I will continue to defend this basic constitutional freedom.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
