Mark Oliva, Managing Director of Public Affairs for the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), didn\u2019t hold back in his response to a recent letter from House Democrats Jamie Raskin and Lucy McBath to Attorney General Pamela Bondi. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oliva dismissed the lawmakers\u2019 concerns, pointing out that their demands could be addressed with a simple reading of the 2A.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“It might be that they are entirely unfamiliar with that language \u2013 so allow me to refresh their memory. It\u2019s only 27 words, ‘A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms<\/a>, shall not be infringed.’<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

His response underscores the NSSF\u2019s firm stance against further restrictions on gun rights, particularly those targeting firearm dealers and manufacturers under the ATF\u2019s regulatory policies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
