The NSSF emphasized that these devices are typically illegal imports from China or are unlawfully made by criminals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-federal-oversight-investigation\">Federal Oversight Investigation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The U.S. House Oversight and Government Accountability Committee is currently investigating the alleged collaboration between the White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention, Everytown for Gun Safety, and the City of Chicago in targeting GLOCK. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/member\/james-comer\/C001108\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"nssf-slams-states-lawfare-campaign-against-glock\" title=\"NSSF Slams States' 'Lawfare' Campaign Against GLOCK\">House Oversight Chairman James Comer<\/a> (R-Ky.) has raised concerns about potential improprieties, citing statements by Everytown\u2019s president, John Feinblatt, claiming GLOCK refused to address modifications that could prevent illegal switch use. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The NSSF argues that the lawsuit misrepresents the facts, noting GLOCK\u2019s ongoing cooperation with law enforcement to combat illegal activity involving these devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-a-broader-agenda\">A Broader Agenda?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The NSSF views this legal strategy as part of a larger effort to undermine federal protections for firearm manufacturers.
