That promise lasted about as long as Hunter\u2019s honesty on a federal gun form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Trump responds to Biden pardoning his son, Hunter\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ZvAth0bni08?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-double-standards-galore\">Double Standards Galore<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Citizens Committee for the Right to <a href=\"https:\/\/gunsamerica.com\/digest\/appeals-court-non-serious-convictions-not-permanently-erase-right-keep-bear-arms\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"bidens-pardon-of-hunter-a-slap-in-the-face-to-every-law-abiding-gun-owner\" title=\"Biden\u2019s Pardon of Hunter: A Slap in the Face to Every Law-Abiding Gun Owner\" data-wpil-monitor-id=\"3599\">Keep and Bear Arms<\/a> (CCRKBA) didn\u2019t mince words, calling this pardon a \u201cdespicable exercise of the political double standard.\u201d And they\u2019re right. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Every day, regular Americans are convicted for making mistakes on the same federal form Hunter lied on. These aren\u2019t hardened criminals\u2014just folks caught in the web of overcomplicated gun laws, many of whom lose their gun rights for life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But Hunter? He gets a free pass because Daddy\u2019s the president.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/gunsamerica.com\/digest\/ccrkba-easier-to-get-a-gun-than-a-burger-your-fries-arent-cooked\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"bidens-pardon-of-hunter-a-slap-in-the-face-to-every-law-abiding-gun-owner\" title=\"Biden\u2019s Pardon of Hunter: A Slap in the Face to Every Law-Abiding Gun Owner\">CCRKBA<\/a> Chairman Alan Gottlieb put it bluntly: \u201cThis pardon is an affront to all the people who have been convicted and served prison time for falsely filling out the same federal form that Hunter Biden did.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEspecially those who committed a non-violent crime as a young adult and were never told that they&nbsp;lost the right to own a gun and had no intention of lying,&#8221; he added. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So they face life-altering consequences while Hunter walks away unscathed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-biden-s-legacy-lies-and-hypocrisy\">Biden\u2019s Legacy: Lies and Hypocrisy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The president\u2019s spokespersons have been insisting for months that Biden wouldn\u2019t intervene in his son\u2019s legal troubles. Yet here we are.
