Glock<\/a> et al<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Chicago expands historic lawsuit against Glock\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/92VTEPit2oc?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Comer, a whistleblower revealed that the White House&#8217;s Office of Gun Violence Prevention met privately with Glock representatives on December 20, 2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-see-also-new-kimber-cd59\">SEE ALSO: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gunsamerica.com\/digest\/new-kimber-cd59\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"comer-subpoenas-biden-harris-admin-over-alleged-collusion-with-anti-2a-groups\" title=\"Comer Subpoenas Biden-Harris Admin Over Alleged Collusion with Anti-2A Groups\">New Kimber CD59!<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Comer expressed concern over these meetings, stating, \u201cPlaintiff\u2019s counsel has publicly shared details of a private meeting that your office had with Glock, Inc., the defendant in the lawsuit, which raises serious concerns about whether you or your staff abused the authority of your office and committed ethical violations by colluding with outside parties to initiate a lawsuit against a politically disfavored private entity.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Comer previously requested records from both the White House <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/ogvp\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"comer-subpoenas-biden-harris-admin-over-alleged-collusion-with-anti-2a-groups\" title=\"Comer Subpoenas Biden-Harris Admin Over Alleged Collusion with Anti-2A Groups\">Office on Gun Violence Prevention<\/a> and the ATF in June 2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These requests aimed to uncover details of communications between Glock and White House officials. However, the Committee claims it has not received any of the requested documents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Comer also pointed to daily communication between White House Deputy Director Rob Wilcox and outside groups, which was revealed by a whistleblower. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Comer\u2019s letter to ATF Director Steven Dettelbach stated, \u201cThe Committee previously wrote to you requesting communications between you and Mr. Wilcox to determine whether these communications have been improperly used to coordinate and share information with plaintiff\u2019s counsel.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-see-also-house-committee-backs-bill-to-overturn-atf-gun-rule\">SEE ALSO: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gunsamerica.com\/digest\/house-committee-backs-bill-to-overturn-atf-gun-rule\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"comer-subpoenas-biden-harris-admin-over-alleged-collusion-with-anti-2a-groups\" title=\"Comer Subpoenas Biden-Harris Admin Over Alleged Collusion with Anti-2A Groups\">House Committee Backs Bill to Overturn ATF Gun Rule<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The subpoenas demand a range of documents, including communications between the White House and anti-gun groups like Everytown for Gun Safety, as well as messages related to devices like \u201cGlock switches\u201d and \u201cauto sears.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ATF is also required to hand over encrypted messages and call logs between officials and these groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Comer\u2019s push reflects broader concerns among pro-2A advocates about government collusion with groups aiming to restrict gun rights. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe White House already ignored requests to voluntarily provide this information to the House Oversight Committee. This office \u2013 led by Vice President Harris, the administration\u2019s \u2018gun control czar\u2019 \u2013 appears to have manifested the firearm industry\u2019s deepest concerns that it was never formed to improve community safety,\u201d said Lawrence G.
