It does not have to be this way.<br \/><br \/>Today, President Biden and I took more bold steps to save lives. Tony Gonzales (R-Texas), showed that there were 662, 566 noncitizens in the United States with a criminal history. That includes 13,099 with murder convictions, 62,231 with assault convictions, 14,301 with burglary convictions, 56,533 with drug convictions, 15,811 with sexual assault convictions and 2,521 with kidnapping convictions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vice President Kamala Harris, who was named as the Biden-Harris administration\u2019s&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/opinion\/immigration\/4813704-kamala-harris-border-czar-denial\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"vp-harris-imports-crime-while-she-wants-to-ban-guns\" title=\"VP Harris Imports Crime While She Wants to Ban Guns\">border<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/biden-guns-mass-shootings-kamala-harris-e4ae51704d1e065fef0fb656043d6cf0\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"vp-harris-imports-crime-while-she-wants-to-ban-guns\" title=\"VP Harris Imports Crime While She Wants to Ban Guns\">gun control czar<\/a>,<\/strong>&nbsp;has also overseen the broken \u201copen border\u201d policy that has resulted in 17,416 noncitizens with weapons charges, although the nature of which weapon those illegal immigrants had in their possession is not specified. Of those, 16,820 were not detained, 14,000 who were convicted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That means those criminals who are not detained are still on America\u2019s streets, even though they may be facing final orders of removal or are going though through removal proceedings.&nbsp;<em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/tens-thousands-illegal-immigrants-sexual-assault-homicide-convictions-roaming-us-streets\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"vp-harris-imports-crime-while-she-wants-to-ban-guns\" title=\"VP Harris Imports Crime While She Wants to Ban Guns\">Fox News<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;<\/em>reported that there are over 7 million people on the \u201cnot detained\u201d docket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-gaslighting-czar\">Gaslighting \u2018Czar\u2019<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Those figures are alarming. This same administration that has wielded nearly&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nssf.org\/articles\/president-bidens-whole-of-government-gun-control-crusade-confronts-reality\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"vp-harris-imports-crime-while-she-wants-to-ban-guns\" title=\"VP Harris Imports Crime While She Wants to Ban Guns\">every government lever<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;to block or diminish the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens to legally purchase a firearm for self-defense has also been importing tens of thousands of violent criminals at the same time. The Biden-Harris administration isn\u2019t making America safer through their gun control efforts. They are making Americans victims and doubling down by allowing violent criminals open access to America\u2019s neighborhoods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt may be shocking to hear that the Biden-Harris administration is actively releasing tens of thousands of criminal illegal aliens into our communities, but their own numbers conclusively prove this to be the case. This defies all common sense,\u201d said U.S. Rep. Mark Green (R-Tenn.), Chairman of the U.S. House of Representatives Homeland Security Committee, to&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/tens-thousands-illegal-immigrants-sexual-assault-homicide-convictions-roaming-us-streets\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"vp-harris-imports-crime-while-she-wants-to-ban-guns\" title=\"VP Harris Imports Crime While She Wants to Ban Guns\"><em>Fox News<\/em><\/a><\/strong>. Rep. Green has also been&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/markgreentn.com\/news\/gop-house-firearms-atf-trade-foreign\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"vp-harris-imports-crime-while-she-wants-to-ban-guns\" title=\"VP Harris Imports Crime While She Wants to Ban Guns\">outspoken about the Biden-Harris administration\u2019s attacks<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;on Second Amendment rights and the firearm and ammunition industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The report comes as Vice President Harris is attempting to gaslight her own track record on both Second Amendment rights and border security. Vice President Harris professed to owning a firearm and&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2024\/09\/20\/politics\/video\/kamala-harris-oprah-gun-ownership-bts-cnntm-ldn-digvid\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"vp-harris-imports-crime-while-she-wants-to-ban-guns\" title=\"VP Harris Imports Crime While She Wants to Ban Guns\">told<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;Oprah Winfrey in a television special, \u201cIf somebody breaks in my house they\u2019re getting shot,\u201d neglecting to mention she resides at One Observatory Circle on the grounds of the U.S. Naval Observatory in Washington, D.C., that is guarded around the clock by uniformed officers of the U.S. Secret Service. She\u2019s&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/newsletters\/politico-nightly\/2024\/09\/27\/whats-behind-kamala-harris-gunslinging-campaign-00181510\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"vp-harris-imports-crime-while-she-wants-to-ban-guns\" title=\"VP Harris Imports Crime While She Wants to Ban Guns\">attempted to convince voters<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;she\u2019s a Second Amendment supporter but her own political history belies that claim. Vice President Harris has yet to identify which firearm she says she owns, how it is stored or if it is registered with Washington, D.C., Metro Police, as required by law in the District of Columbia, where she resides as vice president. Or is the firearm \u2013 reportedly a pistol&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2024\/09\/20\/politics\/gun-owner-kamala-harris\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"vp-harris-imports-crime-while-she-wants-to-ban-guns\" title=\"VP Harris Imports Crime While She Wants to Ban Guns\">according<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;to <em>CNN<\/em> \u2013 registered and kept at her home in Los Angeles?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Reload reported that Vice President Harris backed plan to forcibly&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/thereload.com\/kamala-harris-backed-san-francisco-handgun-confiscation-measure\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"vp-harris-imports-crime-while-she-wants-to-ban-guns\" title=\"VP Harris Imports Crime While She Wants to Ban Guns\">confiscate handguns<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;from law-abiding citizens in San Francisco when she served as the city\u2019s district attorney in 2005. When she ran for The White House in 2019, Vice President Harris&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/video\/6360516566112\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"vp-harris-imports-crime-while-she-wants-to-ban-guns\" title=\"VP Harris Imports Crime While She Wants to Ban Guns\">backed forcible confiscation<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;of Modern Sporting Rifles (MSRs), the most-popular selling centerfire rifle in America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ICE report to Rep. Gonzalez came at the same time Vice President Harris visited the U.S. Southern border to see the problem criminals freely crossing. It was the&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/2024-election\/kamala-harris-visit-southern-border-first-time-nominee-rcna172772\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"vp-harris-imports-crime-while-she-wants-to-ban-guns\" title=\"VP Harris Imports Crime While She Wants to Ban Guns\">first time<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;she visited the border in three years, despite being President Biden\u2019s border czar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-no-annie-oakley\">No Annie Oakley<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The numbers presented by ICE make it clear. Vice President Harris is willing to give criminals roaming America\u2019s streets a pass while she prosecutes a radical antigun agenda against Americans who follow the law. The National Review\u2019s editors called her \u201can Enemy of the Second Amendment.\u201d They pointed out that three times she backed efforts to ban or confiscate firearms \u2013 first in San Francisco, later when she signed an amicus brief opposing the 2008&nbsp;<em>Heller<\/em>&nbsp;case before the U.S. Supreme Court and again later when she backed confiscating MSRs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHarris has spent a career opposing the Second Amendment&nbsp;<em>because<\/em>&nbsp;she has spent a career trying to \u2018take everyone\u2019s guns away.\u2019 The last-minute Annie Oakley act does not alter that one whit,\u201d the editors at&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalreview.com\/2024\/09\/kamala-harris-is-an-enemy-of-the-second-amendment\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"vp-harris-imports-crime-while-she-wants-to-ban-guns\" title=\"VP Harris Imports Crime While She Wants to Ban Guns\"><em>The National Review <\/em>wrote<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the true Vice President Harris. She\u2019s a politician attempting to obfuscate her previous policy positions and running from her record. Both tell who she really is.
