Bonta<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This case brings together a wide range of gun rights organizations, including Gun Owners of America, the Liberal Gun Club, and the California Rifle &amp; Pistol Association. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They&#8217;re also joined by several individuals, including Reno May, the case\u2019s namesake. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The legal team handling the case includes prominent attorneys from Michel &amp; Associates, based in Long Beach, California, as well as Donald Kilmer from Caldwell, Idaho.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-see-also-the-colt-viper-the-newest-snake\">SEE ALSO: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gunsamerica.com\/digest\/the-colt-viper-the-newest-snake\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"saf-seeks-full-court-rehearing-in-sensitive-places-case\" title=\"SAF Seeks Full Court Rehearing in 'Sensitive Places' Case\">The Colt Viper \u2013 The Newest Snake<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Recently, a three-judge panel on the Ninth Circuit upheld parts of an injunction against California&#8217;s restrictions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Specifically, the ruling blocked the state from enforcing bans in hospitals, public transit, places of worship, and similar areas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, it wasn\u2019t a complete victory, as the panel narrowed the broader injunction issued earlier by a district court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SAF founder Alan Gottlieb commented on the petition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAs we note in our petition,\u201d said Gottlieb, \u201cthe Ninth Circuit Court has never hesitated to grant en banc review in order to uphold a gun control law, so it should grant review in this case to uphold the general right to public carry as affirmed by the Supreme Court in the <em>Bruen <\/em>decision.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SAF Executive Director Adam Kraut also chimed in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOur initial victory was upheld in part by the Ninth Circuit panel,\u201d said Kraut. \u201cWe are now asking the court to fix the panel\u2019s errors as to the provisions of the law which were upheld by reversing the district court\u2019s injunction.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\" style=\"font-size:24px\"><strong><em>*** <a href=\"https:\/\/gunsamerica.com\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"saf-seeks-full-court-rehearing-in-sensitive-places-case\" title=\"SAF Seeks Full Court Rehearing in 'Sensitive Places' Case\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Buy and Sell on GunsAmerica!<\/a> ***<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) and several partners are pushing for a full court rehearing in their legal battle against California&#8217;s &#8220;sensitive places&#8221;
