Despite repeated orders from responding officers, Kissack refused to comply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In an attempt to de-escalate the situation, officers fired three 40mm less-lethal rounds at Kissack, which struck him. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, Kissack continued his advance toward the officers, still wielding the knife. At this point, two officers discharged their firearms, striking Kissack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\u201cSteven Kissack did not comply. Three 40 mm, less lethal rounds were deployed and struck Kissack. Steven Kissack charged at the officers while brandishing his knife. Kissack was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This incident is under investigation as authorities review body cam footage and other
