Their mission: to ensure probation compliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the deputies assessed the situation, they found multiple individuals congregating in the backyard. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the check, one man provided false identification and began to walk away, ignoring the deputies\u2019 repeated commands to halt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a bid to secure compliance without escalation, one deputy deployed a Taser. Despite the efforts, he was later pronounced dead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The deceased was identified as 42-year-old Lucas Michael Rutledge of Menifee.
