Three men who knew the homeowner attacked him.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/chicago\/news\/4-hospitalized-fight-shooting-belmont-cragin\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"concealed-carrier-shoots-neighbors-after-argument-at-party\" title=\"Concealed Carrier Shoots Neighbors After Argument At Party\"><em>CBS<\/em><\/a>, the attackers lived next door to the homeowner.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The attack started as an argument, and then the three neighbors set on the homeowner. He pulled a gun and began to shoot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The homeowner hit all three neighbors. All four were taken to hospitals. The homeowner had suffered blunt blows to the head and his body.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The three neighbors were all in critical condition. The first, a 29-year-old, was shot five times in the torso. A 22-year-old was shot in the chest. The third neighbor, a 55-year-old man, suffered a shot to the neck.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-some-nutty-neighbors\">Some Nutty Neighbors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In an article from <a href=\"https:\/\/abc7chicago.com\/post\/chicago-shooting-concealed-carry-license-holder-shoots-3\/14899115\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"concealed-carrier-shoots-neighbors-after-argument-at-party\" title=\"Concealed Carrier Shoots Neighbors After Argument At Party\">ABC7<\/a>, Andres Salgado, a cousin of the homeowner, said, \u201cThey tried to go into my cousin\u2019s house.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Salgado, the homeowner was a good guy with a concealed carry permit who didn\u2019t deserve this.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;I don&#8217;t really know the whole story,\u201d Salgado said, \u201cbut my cousin&#8217;s a hardworking man&#8230; he has two kids. The homeowner is licensed for concealed carry.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-conclusion\">Conclusion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Given the circumstances of a three-to-one confrontation, the implications for self-defense are considerable.
