The Gen-2 3MR is a unitized, drop-in trigger system that easily installs into standard AR-15 and AR-10 receivers that utilize a MILSPEC-style fire control group with the small 0.154-inch trigger and hammer pins. The system also includes a proprietary ambidextrous selector that regulates the trigger\u2019s three operational modes: safe, semi-auto, and the Delta V patented and enhanced 3rd Mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In semi-auto mode, the Gen-2 3MR presents single-stage operation with zero take-up and minimal sear travel for a clean, crisp, and efficient break that minimizes shooter-induced shot disturbance and enhances accurate point-of-aim, point-of-impact performance. By itself, the Gen-2 3MR in semi-auto mode is a major upgrade to conventional AR triggers. The real magic, though, comes when the selector moves to 3rd Mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 3rd Mode unleashes the Gen-2 3MR\u2019s positive reset function. This system transfers energy from the bolt carrier through the trigger assembly to quickly and precisely engage the trigger with the hammer sear. Because of variations in equipment, load preferences, and shooting styles, the Gen-2 3MR allows the shooter to fine-tune the trigger\u2019s positive reset characteristic to achieve maximum reset speed with minimum forward trigger travel.
