One suspect is dead with two more on the run in Tennessee after they attempted to break into a home earlier this week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Midnight Invasion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Police responded to a home early Tuesday morning after reports of a home invasion. The Hamilton County Sheriff\u2019s Office<\/a> (HCSO) said they found one suspect dead on the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to reports, it was shortly after midnight when three armed intruders entered the home. According to WDEF<\/em><\/a>, the homeowner confronted the suspects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The homeowner and intruders shot at each other, and one of the intruders was hit by the homeowner. He died there in the home, where police found him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Suspects On the Run<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The other two suspects got away. According to HSCO<\/em>, <\/a>they \u201cjumped through a window to escape and fled the scene.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the official personnel who arrived on the scene were SWAT members and a K-9 unit. A drone patrol searched the area but the two suspects are still on the run. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sheriff Austin Garrett told the crew of NewsChannel9<\/em> <\/a>that the neighborhood shouldn\u2019t worry about their safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe identities of those involved are being withheld pending further investigation,\u201d the sheriff\u2019s office said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The investigation is ongoing, with the police interviewing witnesses and gathering evidence. They posted on X, the social media platform, asking neighbors to volunteer any surveillance videos that might show footage of the crime.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They are specifically looking for cars they could tie to the two suspects on the run.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
