Already Connecticut Senator Richard Blumenthal has taken up the sword for new gun laws following the Elliot Rogers shooting. As we have warned several times, including this past week<\/a> in a review of a new 2nd Amendment film, mental health is the Trojan Horse upon which the anti-gunners, and many pro-gun people, think we can find common ground. Such would be the case if the mental health profession wasn’t run by lockstep progressives and moonbats who only got into the profession to see if they could figure out what was wrong with them. Here is the quote from Blumenthal:<\/p>\n

\u201cObviously, not every kind of gun violence is going to be prevented by laws out of Washington,\u201d he said. \u201cBut at least we can make a start and I am going to urge that we bring back those bills, maybe reconfigure them, centre on mental health, which is a point where we can agree that we need more resources to make the country healthier and to make sure that these kinds of horrific, insane, mad occurrences are stopped.<\/em><\/p>\n
