We had the opportunity to catch up with John at the shotgun line to dive into the revamped Beretta 1301 Tactical Shotgun Mod. 2. Here\u2019s the scoop on what\u2019s new with this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.beretta.com\/en-us\/product\/1301-tactical-mod--2-black-syn-FA0115\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"beretta-1301-tactical-mod-2-shot-show-2023\" title=\"Beretta 1301 Tactical Mod. 2 -- SHOT Show 2024\">model<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First off, the 1301 Tactical now sports an aggressive grip texture on its forend, incorporating the M-Lok system seen in previous A300 Patrol models. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A notable change is its two-piece tube, allowing shooters to customize the magazine capacity more easily than before. It stays up and out of the way, facilitating smooth and easy loading. The trigger has also been revamped to a semi-flat style, offering a distinctly different and improved shooting experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The standard stock, currently shipping in black, has seen some aesthetic changes too. Beretta is bringing back color options, including Flat Dark Earth, OD Green, and Wolf Gray. This limited-edition variant will likely feature a folding capacity and the ability to mount AR-style grips.
