When Ricci found several bullet casings outside his home the police had missed, they got an earful from him.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ricci said he yelled at the LAPD for \u201csloppy police work.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the LAPD did not publicly say why the concealed carry permit was removed, they did tell <a href=\"https:\/\/ktla.com\/news\/local-news\/l-a-homeowner-who-fired-on-armed-robbers-has-concealed-carry-permit-suspended\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"update-california-dads-pistol-permit-revoked-after-protecting-family-from-armed-intruders\" title=\"UPDATE: California Dad's Pistol Permit Revoked After Protecting Family from Armed Intruders\"><em>KTLA<\/em> <\/a>more or less that the state of California has guidelines for these permits.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>KTLA<\/em> reports that the permit must be revoked if evidence exists against the licensee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"California man loses gun permit after defending family\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/0PoAhsQWxrY?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-will-authorities-reinstate-ricci-s-permit\">Will Authorities Reinstate Ricci&#8217;s Permit?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Sheriff&#8217;s Department informed <em>KTLA<\/em> that they could reinstate Ricci&#8217;s permit if they find no incriminating evidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the statement, \u201cThe DOJ has been notified and there are avenues for Mr. Ricci to re-apply for his permit.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ricci hopes that the process goes smoothly because according to <em>The Daily Mail<\/em> it took him months to get the permit.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-this-stuff-happens-all-the-time\">&#8216;This Stuff Happens All the Time&#8217;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMy situation is unique because it happened at my front door, all on camera,\u201d Ricci said. \u201cBut this happens time and time again all over the country.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe fact is, evil will always exist.\u201d Ricci said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His story has resonated widely on the internet, with many expressing support for him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">On Nov. 4, California homeowner Vince Ricci pulled out a gun after masked thugs tried robbing him as he entered his home. <br><br>He protected his wife and 5-month-old baby, who were inside. <br><br>What happened next?<br><br>LAPD revoked his concealed carry permit after \u201cyelling\u201d at officers for\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/n9YCMv8HSN\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"update-california-dads-pistol-permit-revoked-after-protecting-family-from-armed-intruders\" title=\"UPDATE: California Dad's Pistol Permit Revoked After Protecting Family from Armed Intruders\">pic.twitter.com\/n9YCMv8HSN<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Congressman Troy E.
