Photo courtesy of Scalarworks.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-scope-leveling-made-easy-with-scalarworks\">Scope Leveling Made Easy With Scalarworks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The LevelDrive is what really sets Scalarworks mounts apart from the rest of the industry.&nbsp; It is the reason they are my favorite mounts.&nbsp; There are many tools available to make sure your scope is mounted level.&nbsp; Plumb bob, multiple bubble levels, wedge\/channel, and more.&nbsp; They all work with varying degrees of speed.&nbsp;LevelDrive is the fastest and easiest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-read-more-the-ultimate-3-gun-rifle-part-3\">READ MORE: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gunsamerica.com\/digest\/3-the-ultimate-3-gun-rifle-part-3\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"scalarworks-leap-and-kick-mounts\" title=\"Red Dot or LPVO? - Scalarworks Leap and Kick Mounts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Ultimate 3 Gun Rifle &#8211; Part <\/a>3<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The bottom of the mount has a threaded hole for the red LevelDrive screw.&nbsp; Mount your optic in the rings and leave the rings loose enough that you can twist your optic.&nbsp; Tighten the LevelDrive screw until it makes contact with the flat on the bottom of your optic, and tighten rings.&nbsp; That\u2019s it.&nbsp; I remove the LevelDrive screw after mounting but you can leave it in if you prefer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-switching-optics-on-the-fly\">Switching Optics On the Fly<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Back to the Kick.&nbsp; It puts your red dot at 35 degrees.&nbsp; That makes it very fast to rotate the rifle slightly to use the red dot for close targets without moving your head or adjusting your cheek weld.&nbsp; This allows you to rapidly switch between near and far targets with ease.&nbsp; Depending on your optic setup the 35 degree Kick may be a little tight.&nbsp; I tested it with a Nightforce ATACR 1-8 (34mm) and a Trijicon SRO.&nbsp; It is very tight to get my sausage finger on the up brightness button of the SRO on the left side.&nbsp; Anyone using a 30mm optic should be fine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gunsamerica.com\/digest\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Durka-6793-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Closeup on Scalarworks Kick red dot\" class=\"wp-image-193450\" title=\"3 - Scalarworks Leap and Kick Mounts\" srcset=\"https:\/\/gunsamerica.com\/digest\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Durka-6793-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/gunsamerica.com\/digest\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Durka-6793-400x267.jpg 400w, https:\/\/gunsamerica.com\/digest\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Durka-6793-150x100.jpg 150w, https:\/\/gunsamerica.com\/digest\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Durka-6793-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/gunsamerica.com\/digest\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Durka-6793.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Depending on your optic choices getting to the button can be tricky.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-red-dot-footprints\">Red Dot Footprints<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Kick currently comes in two footprints.&nbsp; RMR cut which fits the Trijicon RMR and SRO, Holosun 407C, 507C, 508T, and many others.&nbsp; The other is an ACRO cut for the Aimpoint ACRO and Steiner MPS.&nbsp; Scalarworks plans to offer Kicks with HS 509T, Delta Point Pro, and Aimpoint Micro footprints as well as 40-degree offsets in the future.&nbsp; Learn more about red dot footprint cross compatibility here.&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.optics-trade.eu\/blog\/footprints-on-red-dot-sights\/?utm_source=GunsAmerica\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"scalarworks-leap-and-kick-mounts\" title=\"Red Dot or LPVO?
