weapons while simultaneously offering owners protection against criminal charges, provided they securely store and do not &#8220;use&#8221; the firearms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In simpler terms, the order prevents responsible gun owners from using their lawfully owned property, even in self-defense situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-delayed-buyback-confiscation-of-assault-weapons\"><strong>The Delayed &#8220;Buyback&#8221; (Confiscation)<\/strong> of &#8220;Assault Weapons&#8221;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The government told owners of prohibited firearms that they would receive &#8216;fair compensation&#8217; under the &#8216;buyback&#8217; He believes it infringes upon gun owners&#8217; rights. Following that tragic incident, Trudeau and his Liberal government resorted to this knee-jerk gun ban.  Clearly, there was little thought that went into such an undertaking. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-navigating-the-future-of-firearm-regulation-in-canada\"><strong>Navigating the Future of Firearm Regulation in Canada<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Should Canadians critically evaluate the confiscation order, they might discern its pitfalls, especially considering global events like the recent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gunsamerica.com\/digest\/weapons-abandoned-by-biden-admin-appear-in-hamas-terror-attacks\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"canada-delays-assault-weapon-confiscation-until-2025\" title=\"Canada Delays 'Assault Weapon' Confiscation Until 2025\">Hamas attack<\/a> on Israel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The truth is disarming responsible citizens renders them vulnerable to terrorism.
