The office will have little to do with preventing actual crime and everything to do with using taxpayer dollars to attempt to deny Americans their Second Amendment rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Still, there are questions about just what this office will do and who are the people staffing this endeavor at taxpayer expense. Here\u2019s what we know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-yoast-seo-table-of-contents yoast-table-of-contents\"><h2>Table of contents<\/h2><ul><li><a href=\"#h-mission\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"take-a-look-at-who-is-running-bidens-gun-violence-office\" title=\"Take a Look At Who Is Running Biden's Gun Violence Office\" data-level=\"2\">Mission<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"#h-staffing\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"take-a-look-at-who-is-running-bidens-gun-violence-office\" title=\"Take a Look At Who Is Running Biden's Gun Violence Office\" data-level=\"2\">Staffing<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"#h-crime-control\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"take-a-look-at-who-is-running-bidens-gun-violence-office\" title=\"Take a Look At Who Is Running Biden's Gun Violence Office\" data-level=\"2\">Crime Control<\/a><\/li><\/ul><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-mission\">Mission<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention is a section of The White House charged with carrying out President Joe Biden\u2019s gun control executive orders. If that sounds like word salad, it is. Executive orders are orders from the president that are based on law. That means executive orders direct federal agencies to execute certain functions that are prescribed by laws authorized by Congress and signed into law by the president.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That means this new White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention is a redundant effort to push gun control. Given that the president is pursuing gun control efforts outside the boundaries of federal law, it should be expected that this office will do more of that. That includes more gun control shenanigans like the ill-fated attack on hunter education. President Biden claimed the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act (BSCA) prohibited the use of federal funds for hunter education and scholastic archery programs in schools under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA). Except, no such provision exists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Congress&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nssf.org\/articles\/congress-bipartisan-support-hunter-education\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"take-a-look-at-who-is-running-bidens-gun-violence-office\" title=\"Take a Look At Who Is Running Biden's Gun Violence Office\">fought back<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;and passed&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/bill\/118th-congress\/house-bill\/5110?q=%7B%22search%22%3A%22hr+5110%22%7D&amp;s=1&amp;r=1\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"take-a-look-at-who-is-running-bidens-gun-violence-office\" title=\"Take a Look At Who Is Running Biden's Gun Violence Office\"><strong>H.R. 5110<\/strong><\/a>, the Protecting Hunting Heritage and Education Act, which was supported by NSSF. The White House&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/white-house-confirms-biden-sign-bipartisan-bill-reversing-his-admins-crackdown-hunting\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"take-a-look-at-who-is-running-bidens-gun-violence-office\" title=\"Take a Look At Who Is Running Biden's Gun Violence Office\">confirmed<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;the president would sign the bill that passed with just one vote against it in the U.S. House of Representatives. The U.S. Senate approved it by unanimous consent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There\u2019s more. Expect this new office to make moves like the Biden administration\u2019s \u201c<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nssf.org\/articles\/atfs-zero-tolerance-unrelenting-and-revealing\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"take-a-look-at-who-is-running-bidens-gun-violence-office\" title=\"Take a Look At Who Is Running Biden's Gun Violence Office\">zero-tolerance<\/a><\/strong>\u201d policy for Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) inspections. That\u2019s seen federal firearms licensees (FFL) lose their licenses and livelihoods over minor clerical errors. There\u2019s a lawsuit pending over this overzealous policy, which a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/webservices.courthousenews.com\/sites\/Data\/AppellateOpinionUploads\/2023-22-9--04-38-07-second%20amendment.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"take-a-look-at-who-is-running-bidens-gun-violence-office\" title=\"Take a Look At Who Is Running Biden's Gun Violence Office\"><strong>federal judge just denied<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;the ATF\u2019s dismissal request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The mission of this new office might be best described as a government-backed gun control wish granting machine. President Biden will leverage this office for universal background checks, which would necessitate a national firearm registry to work \u2013 as the Obama Justice Department admitted. If that doesn\u2019t sound Orwellian, check with Canada and see what Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is attempting with that country\u2019s national registry. It\u2019s a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/nationalpost.com\/opinion\/shameless-liberal-gun-grab-wont-make-us-safer\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"take-a-look-at-who-is-running-bidens-gun-violence-office\" title=\"Take a Look At Who Is Running Biden's Gun Violence Office\"><strong>confiscation scheme<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There will be more. Gun control politicians&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nssf.org\/articles\/gun-control-democrats-urge-executive-action\/?hilite=federal+trade+commission\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"take-a-look-at-who-is-running-bidens-gun-violence-office\" title=\"Take a Look At Who Is Running Biden's Gun Violence Office\"><strong>already sent a roadmap<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;to The White House earlier this year. In that&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/titus.house.gov\/uploadedfiles\/2023.09.11_letter_to_biden_on_executive_actions_on_guns.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"take-a-look-at-who-is-running-bidens-gun-violence-office\" title=\"Take a Look At Who Is Running Biden's Gun Violence Office\"><strong>wish list letter<\/strong><\/a>, they wanted U.S. firearm manufacturers with Defense Department contracts to submit to an agreement to not sell Modern Sporting Rifles (MSRs) to civilians. They also want to further restrict certain firearms exempted under the \u201csporting purposes\u201d import exemptions. Expect this office to&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nssf.org\/articles\/antigun-senators-bloviate-over-inability-to-block-firearm-exports\/?hilite=elizabeth+warren\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"take-a-look-at-who-is-running-bidens-gun-violence-office\" title=\"Take a Look At Who Is Running Biden's Gun Violence Office\">advocate for a reversal<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;of the U.S. Munitions List to Commerce Control List (USMC-CCL) export reforms \u2013 originally an Obama\/Biden idea. This office will also likely pressure the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to infringe on First Amendment rights to limit firearm advertisements and press for the ATF to release firearm trace data that is protected from public release by the Tiahrt Amendment. That data is protected because it is incomplete and releasing it would jeopardize law enforcement and their criminal investigations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This gun control agenda is already playing out in President Biden\u2019s attempt to&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nssf.org\/articles\/atf-ffl-definition-expansion-isnt-just-unconstitutional-its-unfeasible\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"take-a-look-at-who-is-running-bidens-gun-violence-office\" title=\"Take a Look At Who Is Running Biden's Gun Violence Office\">rope in nearly anyone<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;who privately sells a firearm as a \u201cfirearm dealer,\u201d requiring them to obtain a license and maintain firearm transfer records in perpetuity. This isn\u2019t, however, what the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act (BSCA) text reads when the definition was clarified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-staffing\">Staffing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention will be headed up by none other than Vice President Kamala Harris. Vice President Harris&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/statements-releases\/2023\/09\/21\/president-joe-biden-to-establish-first-ever-white-house-office-of-gun-violence-prevention-to-be-overseen-by-vice-president-kamala-harris\/#:~:text=The%20new%20Office%20of%20Gun%20Violence%20Prevention%20will%20play%20a,to%20build%20upon%20the%20meaningful\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"take-a-look-at-who-is-running-bidens-gun-violence-office\" title=\"Take a Look At Who Is Running Biden's Gun Violence Office\"><strong>said in a statement<\/strong><\/a>, \u201cThe new Office of Gun Violence Prevention will play a critical role in implementing President Biden\u2019s and my efforts to reduce violence to the fullest extent under the law, while also engaging and encouraging Congressional leaders, state and local leaders, and advocates to come together to build upon the meaningful progress that we have made to save lives.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This new office can be added to the list of other tasks with which the vice president has been charged. That includes&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2022\/01\/15\/harris-voting-rights-push-527186\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"take-a-look-at-who-is-running-bidens-gun-violence-office\" title=\"Take a Look At Who Is Running Biden's Gun Violence Office\"><strong>voting rights<\/strong><\/a><strong>,<\/strong>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/kamala-harris-avoid-us-mexico-border-thursday-visit-arizona\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"take-a-look-at-who-is-running-bidens-gun-violence-office\" title=\"Take a Look At Who Is Running Biden's Gun Violence Office\"><strong>the U.S. southern border<\/strong><\/a><strong>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/white-house\/vp-harris-top-white-house-messenger-abortion-fight-rcna79008\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"take-a-look-at-who-is-running-bidens-gun-violence-office\" title=\"Take a Look At Who Is Running Biden's Gun Violence Office\">abortion<\/a>,<\/strong>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.msn.com\/en-us\/news\/politics\/joe-biden-just-put-kamala-harris-in-charge-of-ai\/ar-AA1aR2Ic?li=BBnb7Kz#image=1\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"take-a-look-at-who-is-running-bidens-gun-violence-office\" title=\"Take a Look At Who Is Running Biden's Gun Violence Office\"><strong>artificial intelligence<\/strong><\/a><strong>,<\/strong>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2022\/06\/01\/politics\/kamala-harris-water-security\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"take-a-look-at-who-is-running-bidens-gun-violence-office\" title=\"Take a Look At Who Is Running Biden's Gun Violence Office\"><strong>water policy<\/strong><\/a><strong>,<\/strong>&nbsp;promoting&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/us\/harris-yellen-urge-americans-file-taxes-collect-remaining-tax-credits-2022-02-08\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"take-a-look-at-who-is-running-bidens-gun-violence-office\" title=\"Take a Look At Who Is Running Biden's Gun Violence Office\"><strong>child tax credits<\/strong><\/a><strong>,<\/strong>&nbsp;COVID-19&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.huffpost.com\/entry\/biden-harris-teachers-priority-vaccines_n_602d1afbc5b67c32961a734b\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"take-a-look-at-who-is-running-bidens-gun-violence-office\" title=\"Take a Look At Who Is Running Biden's Gun Violence Office\"><strong>vaccine education<\/strong><\/a><strong>,<\/strong>&nbsp;heading the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/nasawatch.com\/biden-space\/after-2-years-of-fumbling-a-new-national-space-council-users-advisory-group-uag\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"take-a-look-at-who-is-running-bidens-gun-violence-office\" title=\"Take a Look At Who Is Running Biden's Gun Violence Office\"><strong>National Space Council<\/strong><\/a><strong>,<\/strong>&nbsp;expanding nationwide&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/adamandrzejewski\/2021\/09\/30\/us-government-is-spending-425-billion-to-own-the-new-internet\/?sh=2339e97560e5\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"take-a-look-at-who-is-running-bidens-gun-violence-office\" title=\"Take a Look At Who Is Running Biden's Gun Violence Office\"><strong>broadband access<\/strong><\/a><strong>,<\/strong>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/us\/harris-lead-biden-task-force-promoting-unions-labor-organizing-2021-04-26\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"take-a-look-at-who-is-running-bidens-gun-violence-office\" title=\"Take a Look At Who Is Running Biden's Gun Violence Office\"><strong>union labor expansion<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;and stopping&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2022\/06\/16\/politics\/task-force-online-harassment-abuse-kamala-harris\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"take-a-look-at-who-is-running-bidens-gun-violence-office\" title=\"Take a Look At Who Is Running Biden's Gun Violence Office\"><strong>online harassment<\/strong><\/a><strong>.<\/strong>&nbsp;None of those portfolios show progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stefanie Feldman will serve as the Director of the newly created office. She\u2019s a longtime aide to President Biden, serving as a Domestic Policy Advisor, where many of the Biden administration\u2019s wild gun control schemes originated. Her social media is peppered with gun control chest-thumping, including one post on X, formerly known as Twitter, from 2019&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/nra-mocks-bidens-new-gun-violence-prevention-office-advice-on-name\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"take-a-look-at-who-is-running-bidens-gun-violence-office\" title=\"Take a Look At Who Is Running Biden's Gun Violence Office\"><strong>that reads<\/strong><\/a><strong>,<\/strong>&nbsp;\u201cAs president, he\u2019ll defeat them again. And, he\u2019ll repeal the non-sensical liability protection for gun manufacturers.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of course, that would require an act of Congress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Greg Jackson will join Feldman, as Special Assistant to the President and Deputy Director. Jackson\u2019s qualifications are more than 10 years as a gun control advocate for a number of organizations, including George Soros-backed Tides Foundation Community Justice Action Fund, and Director of Community Relations for Mayor Muriel Bowser of crime-ridden Washington, D.C. He was also the victim of a criminal shooting in 2013.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jackson also brings to the office an animus against law enforcement. Washington Free Beacon&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/biden-administration\/biden-taps-anti-cop-activist-to-lead-white-house-gun-violence-office\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"take-a-look-at-who-is-running-bidens-gun-violence-office\" title=\"Take a Look At Who Is Running Biden's Gun Violence Office\">reported<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;Jackson participated in a January 2021 University of Maryland policing seminar when he lamented that he is \u201cstruggling to survive while \u2026 police budgets thrive.\u201d He was also part of an Obama Foundation webinar entitled \u201cRe Imagining Policing,\u201d when he proposed \u201ccommunity-led violence intervention and prevention strategies\u201d in place of traditional law enforcement. The goal, Jackson said, is to \u201cultimately reduce the need for policing.\u201d How\u2019s that going, Mr. Jackson?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jackson\u2019s noticeably absent on criminals illegally using firearms to prey on communities but blames the firearm industry for politicians\u2019 unwillingness to hold criminals to account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Robert Wilcox will also serve as Special Assistant to the President and Deputy Director. His role prior to the appointment was as Senior Director of Federal Government Affairs at Everytown for Gun Safety. He\u2019s a gun control lobbyist. Of course, this is the same gun control group that\u2019s bankrolled by gun control billionaire Michael Bloomberg. As Everytown\u2019s lobbyist, Wilcox called for&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.everytown.org\/solutions\/assault-weapons\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"take-a-look-at-who-is-running-bidens-gun-violence-office\" title=\"Take a Look At Who Is Running Biden's Gun Violence Office\"><strong>bans on entire classes<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;of firearms and supports&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.everytown.org\/solutions\/industry-reform\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"take-a-look-at-who-is-running-bidens-gun-violence-office\" title=\"Take a Look At Who Is Running Biden's Gun Violence Office\"><strong>bankrupting the firearm industry<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;through frivolous and unconstitutional lawsuits. He\u2019s&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.house.gov\/meetings\/RU\/RU02\/20220615\/114896\/HHRG-117-RU02-Wstate-WilcoxR-20220615.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"take-a-look-at-who-is-running-bidens-gun-violence-office\" title=\"Take a Look At Who Is Running Biden's Gun Violence Office\">testified<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;for increased gun control but never for holding criminals accountable for their horrific crimes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-crime-control\">Crime Control<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s not just Wilcox. Vice President Harris hasn\u2019t called for increased prosecution of criminals, even though The White House is playing up her former role as California\u2019s attorney general and as a prosecutor. Feldman doesn\u2019t want to lock up criminals, nor does Jackson. Vice President Harris is more focused on&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/06\/06\/kamala-harris-huddles-with-george-soros-son-alexander\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"take-a-look-at-who-is-running-bidens-gun-violence-office\" title=\"Take a Look At Who Is Running Biden's Gun Violence Office\">giving White House access<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;to George Soros\u2019 grandson Alex, who was appointed to head up the progressive policy group Open Society Foundation. Vice President Harris&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/kamala-harris-met-george-soros-heir-top-donors-her-private-residence-records-show\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"take-a-look-at-who-is-running-bidens-gun-violence-office\" title=\"Take a Look At Who Is Running Biden's Gun Violence Office\"><strong>regularly meets<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;with the young Soros. This is the same Open Society Foundation that raised the idea of cities&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.opensocietyfoundations.org\/voices\/zones-where-no-one-has-guns-not-even-police\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"take-a-look-at-who-is-running-bidens-gun-violence-office\" title=\"Take a Look At Who Is Running Biden's Gun Violence Office\">devoid of any lawful firearm<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;possession \u2013 even by police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention is anything but dedicated to preventing criminal misuse of firearms.
