It was a high-stakes day in Perris, California on April 14, 2023. Riverside County\u00a0deputies were on the hunt <\/a>for Johnny Ray Llamas, a 35-year-old known felon, in the Meadowbrook area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A tip-off from a watchful neighbor around 4:47 p.m. set the ball rolling. The report claimed a man and woman were lurking around a property on River Road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deputies showed up, confirmed it was Llamas, and jumped into action. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They called in their furry partner, Rudy, the K9, to help track the wanted man. Rudy sniffed out Llamas’ hiding place, but sadly, he was shot by the cornered fugitive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
