Here&#8217;s a snapshot of the changes: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-changes-to-the-bipartisan-safer-communities-act\">Changes to the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Repealing a program bribing states to pass red flag laws.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Repealing the decision to criminalize private transfers by reclassifying private sellers as gun dealers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Repealing the federal waiting period for some adults to purchase rifles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Repealing laws that disarm adults for mere misdemeanors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-changes-to-the-2023-appropriations-omnibus-bill\">Changes to the 2023 Appropriations Omnibus bill:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cutting the ATF\u2019s 14.1% budget increase.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cutting $14.4 million for the ATF to maintain its illegal gun registry.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cutting $700+ million in bribes for states to pass red flag laws.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reversing the decision to weaponize the VA to attack veterans with gun confiscation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Defunding the Department of Education\u2019s efforts to mandate so-called safe storage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Defunding VA and HHS programs that track where veterans are storing their guns.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Defunding programs that discourage women from exercising their Second Amendment rights.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Defunding research that labels conservative gun owners as dangerous right-wing radicals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-changes-to-the-violence-against-women-reauthorization-act-of-2023\">Changes to the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2023:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Repealing the law that directs law enforcement to criminally investigate people who fail firearm background checks, even though 90% of the time the system falsely denies a law-abiding citizen their right to bear arms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Defunding a program that enables the ATF to deputize local police to enforce federal gun laws.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Changes to the 2023 NDAA<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Repeal provisions creating a firearm storage provision that could be used to later justify a nationwide mandatory so-called safe-storage program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Shall Not Be Infringed Act has received the backing of Gun Owners of America (GOA) and the National Association for Gun Rights. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aidan Johnston, Federal Affairs Director of GOA, emphasized the importance of the bill, asserting that Congress has no authority to restrict the Second Amendment.
