The Final Rule offered no scientific evidence of detrimental population impacts to support banning the use of traditional ammunition, despite promises by the Biden administration to \u201cfollow the science.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Firearm and ammunition manufacturers pay a 10 and 11 percent excise tax to the Wildlife Restoration Trust Fund, commonly referred to as the \u201cPittman-Robertson excise tax.\u201d The firearm and ammunition industry was directly responsible for&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nssf.org\/articles\/nssf-celebrates-1-6-billion-apportioned-to-states-for-conservation\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"hunt365-sen-daines-protecting-access-for-hunters-anglers-act-introduction\" title=\"NSSF Applauds Sen.
