An allegedly drunk home invader was shot earlier this month by a San Antonio homeowner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The intruder, who has yet to be identified, may have tried to force his way into a home in north-side San Antonio. According to reports from KENS5<\/em><\/a>, the intruder mistakenly thought the house was his own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When talking to police KENS5<\/em> learned that the door was possibly locked when the intruder arrived. The intruder attempted to enter despite that and was told by the homeowner to leave.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drunk Intruders Can’t Be Reasoned With<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

KENS5<\/em> quotes a representative of the San Antonio Police Dept., \u201cMy understanding is the homeowner gave him repeated commands to stop (and) get away, and the guy kept approaching him.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The homeowner did eventually fire a gun at the intruder around 4 p.m. that day. Several shots were fired. The drunk intruder was hit in the foot, but police say he will likely recover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

KENS5<\/em> reported on the scene while police were still there. Police are still actively investigating the details to determine exactly what occurred that day.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
