Tim Scott<\/a>, officers and other emergency responders rushed to Ogden High School shortly after 9:30 AM when police dispatchers received a report of &#8220;an active shooter&#8221; at the school.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Similar incidents occurred at Provo High School, Spanish Fork High School, West High School in Salt Lake City, and Box Elder High School in Brigham City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-see-also-plan-to-decarcerate-la-county-jails-withdrawn-after-facing-widespread-opposition\">SEE ALSO: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gunsamerica.com\/digest\/plan-to-decarcerate-la-county-jails-withdrawn-after-facing-widespread-opposition\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"several-utah-schools-targeted-by-unfounded-shooting-threats\" title=\"Several Utah Schools Targeted by Unfounded Shooting Threats\">Plan to \u2018Decarcerate\u2019 LA County Jails Withdrawn After Facing Widespread Opposition<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAll students and faculty at Spanish Fork High are safe,\u201d Nebo School District said in an email obtained by GunsAmerica. \u201cThis was a false report of an active shooter at Spanish Fork High. Police responded quickly and lockdown protocol was immediately put into place. Police swept the building and have deemed it safe.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As protocol dictates, other schools in the area were also put on lockdown, including elementary schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI want to reassure you that your children are safe here at [school],\u201d said a principal of a Utah elementary school in an additional email obtained by GunsAmerica. \u201cDue to recent news in the community, the district has advised that we use an abundance of caution in our protocol today.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This week, school districts across the country also reported being victims of the hoax. The threats began not long after six people were killed at a Christian elementary school in Nashville, Tennessee last Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"
