What happened to \u2018equal justice under the law\u2019?<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/O6ohnBhWNF\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"why-isnt-hunter-biden-in-jail\" title=\"Why Isn't Hunter Biden in Jail?\">pic.twitter.com\/O6ohnBhWNF<\/a><\/p>\u2014 Collin Rugg (@CollinRugg) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CollinRugg\/status\/1638961794768343040?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"why-isnt-hunter-biden-in-jail\" title=\"Why Isn't Hunter Biden in Jail?\">March 23, 2023<\/a><\/blockquote> \n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Why isn&#8217;t Hunter Biden in jail?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s a very legitimate question. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We know for a fact that he was addicted to crack cocaine.  Hunter&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2021\/04\/02\/politics\/hunter-biden-book-memoir-addiction\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"why-isnt-hunter-biden-in-jail\" title=\"Why Isn't Hunter Biden in Jail?\">admitted<\/a> as much publicly.  Heck, even his father has acknowledged Hunter&#8217;s checkered past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis [Hunter] is a kid who got \u2013 not a kid, he\u2019s a grown man \u2013 he got hooked on, like many families have had [sic] happen, hooked on drugs&#8230;\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2022\/10\/11\/politics\/hunter-biden-joe-biden-cnntv\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"why-isnt-hunter-biden-in-jail\" title=\"Why Isn't Hunter Biden in Jail?\">said<\/a> president Joe Biden last year.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And if their admissions aren&#8217;t believable enough, there&#8217;s video evidence of Hunter weighing his, what appear to be, crack rocks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"WATCH: Hunter Biden films himself weighing his \u2018crack\u2019\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Rj9V-XjCol8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One could argue that using hard drugs is a victimless crime.  And that alone shouldn&#8217;t land someone behind bars, even though federal guidelines trigger a five-year mandatory minimum sentence for possession of<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Fair_Sentencing_Act#:~:text=The%20Commission%20changed%20the%20sentencing,50%20grams%20to%20280%20grams.\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"why-isnt-hunter-biden-in-jail\" title=\"Why Isn't Hunter Biden in Jail?\"> one ounce of crack<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fine, if that&#8217;s what you believe.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But Hunter&#8217;s criminal history doesn&#8217;t stop with smoking crack.  While he was getting high in 2018, he also bought a .38-caliber revolver from a Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) in Delaware. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While meeting with the dealer, Hunter filled out a form 4473, which clearly asks the purchaser whether he or she is &#8220;an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance?&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">SEE ALSO: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gunsamerica.com\/digest\/atf-files-block-release-documents-hunter-biden-gun-crimes\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"why-isnt-hunter-biden-in-jail\" title=\"Why Isn't Hunter Biden in Jail?\">ATF Files Response to Block Release of Documents Related to Hunter Biden Gun Crimes<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Hunter answered &#8220;no&#8221; on the form.  In other words, he lied on a federal form.  Again, we know this because both Hunter and President Biden have openly admitted it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis thing about a gun \u2013 I didn\u2019t know anything about it. But turns out that when he made application [sic] to purchase a gun, what happened was he \u2013 I guess you get asked \u2013 I don\u2019t guess, you get asked a question, are you on drugs, or do use drugs?\u2019 He said no. And he wrote about saying no in his book,\u201d president Biden explained in Oct. of 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This brings us to the Twitter clip embedded at the top of the article where Rep. Tom Tiffany (R-WI) asks Rob Wilcox, Senior Director of Policy for Everytown for Gun Safety, the question we all want an answer to:  <em>Why isn&#8217;t Hunter Biden in jail?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;If a person lies on ATF Form 4473 and is a user of unlawful drugs, you can get between five and 10 years for that. Is that correct? Is that your understanding?,&#8221; Tiffany asked Wilcox toward the beginning of the exchange, during last week&#8217;s House subcommittee hearing titled, &#8220;ATF\u2019s Assault on the Second Amendment: When is Enough Enough?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wilcox responded by saying the law has been updated and offenders now face up to 15 years in prison. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Why hasn&#8217;t Hunter Biden been prosecuted for the crime that he committed?&#8221; Tiffany retorted. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m not aware of the facts of that case and can&#8217;t comment on it,&#8221; Wilcox said.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">SEE ALSO: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gunsamerica.com\/digest\/fireworks-at-congressional-hearing-on-atf-and-who-makes-the-laws\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"why-isnt-hunter-biden-in-jail\" title=\"Why Isn't Hunter Biden in Jail?\">Fireworks at Congressional Hearing on ATF and Who Makes the Laws<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Who do we talk to to see why this case is not being prosecuted? He said very clearly in his book that he used drugs,&#8221; Tiffany continued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Democrat at the hearing then interjected, arguing Rep. Tiffany&#8217;s question was &#8220;totally irrelevant.&#8221;  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tiffany then posited the following, &#8220;I understand why you do not want Mr. Wilcox to answer that question.  Because there&#8217;s a dual system of justice in America. That&#8217;s what&#8217;s going on right now. And everybody&#8217;s talking about it across America. There\u2019s two standards of justice that are going on.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">WH Press Sec. We all know this.  And by &#8220;we,&#8221; I mean everybody knows this &#8212; including Hunter and President Biden.  The reason Hunter won&#8217;t spend one day behind bars is, well, it&#8217;s obvious. The Biden family is above the law.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Actually, it&#8217;s much worse than that.  The Biden family wants to be praised for its criminality, not punished for it.  In other words, don&#8217;t prosecute the crackhead for buying a firearm in violation of federal law.  Be proud of him!  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSo, I have great confidence in my son. I love him and he\u2019s on the straight and narrow, and he has been for a couple years now. And I\u2019m just so proud of him,&#8221; said president Biden.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He&#8217;s on the &#8220;straight and narrow&#8221; &#8212; yeah right!!!  There&#8217;s little doubt he&#8217;s running a scam with his &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=2V3ZMC81NuE\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"why-isnt-hunter-biden-in-jail\" title=\"Why Isn't Hunter Biden in Jail?\">artwork<\/a>&#8221; that sells to unknown individuals for tens of thousands of dollars.
