Unhappy with their answer, Chief Fairfield contacted the DA&#8217;s office directly and demanded a second review of the case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;On March 21, 2023, the filing District Attorney at Downey Superior Court initially rejected the entire case, stating they needed additional information regarding the criminal threat,&#8221; Bell Gardens police said in a <a href=\"https:\/\/pbs.twimg.com\/media\/FrzMjigaIAEQ9KX?format=jpg&amp;name=large\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"progressive-das-failure-to-file-charges-prompts-police-chief-to-step-up-and-take-action\" title=\"Progressive DA's Failure to File Charges Prompts Police Chief to Step Up and Take Action\">statement<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Three days after evidentiary requests were sent to the social media company in question, police had not received a response, according to the statement.
