Non-criminal and\/or non-violent homeless and quality of life-related calls;<br \/>2. Non-criminal mental health calls;<br \/>3. Non-violent juvenile disturbance or juveniles beyond parental control calls; (won\u2019t go to school);<br \/>4. Calls to schools unless the school administration is initiating a call for an emergency police response or making a mandatory reporting notification;<br \/>5. Public Health Order violations;<br \/>6. Non-violent calls for service at City parks;<br \/>7. Under the influence calls (alcohol and\/or drugs) where there is no other crime in progress;<br \/>8. Welfare Check \u2013 WELCK;<br \/>\u2022 Non-Criminal;<br \/>\u2022 Courtesy request from Drs\/Hospitals;<br \/>9. Non-Fatal Vehicle Accidents \u2013 1181\/1182\/1183\/1179;<br \/>\u2022 Non-DUI\/Non-Criminal; Property damage only (including City property), Verbal disputes involving non-injury traffic collisions, refusing to share ID at traffic collisions;<br \/>10. Parking violations;<br \/>11. Driveway tow;<br \/>12. Abandoned vehicles;<br \/>13. Person dumping trash;<br \/>14. Vicious and dangerous dog complaints where no attack is in progress;<br \/>15. Calls for service for loud noise, loud music, or \u2018party\u2019 calls that are anonymous or have no victim;<br \/>16. Landlord\/Tenant Disputes;<br \/>17. Loitering\/Trespassing With No Indication Of Danger;<br \/>18. Code 30 Alarm Response (except 211 silent alarm);<br \/>19. Syringe Disposal;<br \/>20. DOT Stand-By;<br \/>21. Homeless Encampment Clean-Ups, unless officers are requested or prescheduled;<br \/>22. Panhandling;<br \/>23. Illegal Vending;<br \/>24. Illegal Gambling;<br \/>25. Fireworks;<br \/>26. Defecating\/Urinating In Public;<br \/>27. Drinking in Public;<br \/>28. Suspicious circs-possible dead body, where no indication of foul play<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Craig Lally, President of the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxla.com\/tag\/organization\/lapd\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"lapd-may-start-sending-unarmed-service-providers-to-these-911-calls\" title=\"LAPD May Start Sending Unarmed Service Providers to These 911 Calls\">\u00a0Los Angeles Police<\/a>\u00a0Protective League (LAPPL), indicated the move is designed to help a police force that is currently understaffed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">SEE ALSO: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gunsamerica.com\/digest\/superintendent-resigns-after-student-finds-gun-in-bathroom\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"lapd-may-start-sending-unarmed-service-providers-to-these-911-calls\" title=\"LAPD May Start Sending Unarmed Service Providers to These 911 Calls\">Superintendent Resigns After Student Finds Gun in Bathroom<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We believe that in order to maximize the potential benefits of this new response model, it\u2019s important that the initial list of calls where police officers will cease responding to is robust,&#8221; Lally said, per <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxla.com\/news\/lapd-stop-responding-911-service-calls\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"lapd-may-start-sending-unarmed-service-providers-to-these-911-calls\" title=\"LAPD May Start Sending Unarmed Service Providers to These 911 Calls\"><em>Fox11<\/em><\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;It is time to end the debate about sending unarmed responders to appropriate 911 calls,&#8221; added Jerretta Sandoz, Vice-president of the LAPPL.&nbsp; &#8220;Now is the time to roll up our sleeves and get to the hard work of implementing an alternative response model. We are prepared to enter into an expedited dialogue to take action.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The city council has yet to approve the proposal, which includes $1 million in funding for establishing an &#8220;Office of Unarmed Response and Safety.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;This list of calls presents opportunities that enable the city to develop a network of trained crisis workers and community-based responders to be dispatched for non-criminal behavior and situations,&#8221; said councilman Bob Blumenfield. &#8220;In order to build this network out, dedicated city staff is needed to focus on this work and realize its transformative potential.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Well, what are your thoughts on this?
