Legislation to Ban Online Ammo Sales Reintroduce\">2015<\/a>, Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-NJ) has spearheaded efforts to prohibit the sale of ammunition online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last month, Rep. Coleman reintroduced the <a href=\"https:\/\/watsoncoleman.house.gov\/imo\/media\/doc\/stop_online_ammunition_sales_act_of_2023.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"its-back-legislation-to-ban-online-ammo-sales-reintroduce\" title=\"It's Back! Legislation to Ban Online Ammo Sales Reintroduce\">Stop Online Ammunition Sales Act<\/a> with the assistance of co-sponsor Rep. Kweisi Mfume (MD-7).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As with prior iterations of this bill, it would, as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gunsamerica.com\/digest\/new-jersey-congresswoman-introduces-stop-online-ammunition-act-of-2015\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"its-back-legislation-to-ban-online-ammo-sales-reintroduce\" title=\"It's Back! Legislation to Ban Online Ammo Sales Reintroduce\">NRA-ILA<\/a> observed, implement all of the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>FORCE<\/strong>&nbsp;you to submit a photo ID in person every time you purchase any ammunition;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>REPORT<\/strong>&nbsp;you to Biden&#8217;s anti-gun U.S. Attorney General if you purchase more than 1,000 rounds within a five-day period;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>REGISTER<\/strong>\u00a0ammunition buyers like you in a database maintained by Biden&#8217;s bureaucrats at the Department of Justice.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-white-background-color has-background has-medium-font-size\"><a href=\"https:\/\/alnk.to\/87Wmr1d\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"its-back-legislation-to-ban-online-ammo-sales-reintroduce\" title=\"It's Back! Legislation to Ban Online Ammo Sales Reintroduce\">New Mexico District Attorney Downgrades Charges for Alec Baldwin<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>GunsAmerica reached out to Alan Gottlieb, the founder of the Second Amendment Foundation for comment.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gottlieb was critical of the one-sidedness of legislation in that it presupposes all ammunition sold online ends up in the hands of criminals.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cRep. Coleman\u2019s quote should have been, &#8216;Day in and&nbsp;day out men and women save their lives with ammunition they have bought online and the only response from Democrats is to call for bans on the sale of ammunition,'&#8221; said Gottlieb in an email.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additional cosponsors of the bill include Reps.
