Known for its artisan firearm furniture, WOOX<\/a> unveiled a new product line of Italian-made wooden parts. They showed off furniture upgrades for Mossberg 500 \/ 590 \/ 590A1 \/ Shockwave pump shotguns. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While these are performance enhancements for the firearms they are mounted to, they also provide a timeless and elegant look. Made from American Walnut, this Italian-American combo is sure to make an impression.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After stopping at the WOOX booth at SHOT Show, I was first introduced to the GLADIATORE lineup of shotgun furniture. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

WOOX is crafting these parts for the Mossberg 500 \/ 590 \/ 590A1 \/ Shockwave pump shotguns. They can be purchased as individual components or as a kit to include the stock and forend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These are all simple to install, and feel great in terms of egronomics. The GLADIATORE lineup includes a stock, forend, and club grip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GLADIATORE Lineup<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The GLADIATORE stock is made from premium American walnut and looks stunning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It includes a QD sling swivel, a thick rubber butt to help absorb recoil, and great texturing around the grip. The stock mounts flush with the shotgun.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WOOX offers a club stock option for the Mossberg shockwave. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While being advertised as great for CQB, this nub option gives an elegant look to what feels like a pirate gun. This grip is plenty wide to provide a solid hold and includes texturing to help keep it from slipping around in wet conditions.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new forend blends classic wooden furniture with modern capabilities by utilizing aluminum M-LOK rail sections into the design. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These are included on both sides and on the bottom of the forend which allows one to mount weapon lights or other accessories. I also like how the front and back of the forend are flared out to help always keep the user’s grip in the right place.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall, I am quite impressed with the WOOX lineup of firearm upgrades. They look great, feel great, and function as they should. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
