Announced just a few weeks ago, CVA started offering the Cascade XT<\/a> to take their first-ever centerfire rifle to the next level. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The XT or X-Treme model is designed to be the “precision-oriented” member of the Cascade lineup featuring a heavier fluted barrel and CVA’s own radial muzzle brake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have been in the process of reviewing the original CVA Cascade and am very impressed with it, especially when I factor in the price. This XT variant looks to expand on the original by providing a few more premium features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shooting the Cascade XT, the magazine fed nicely, the oversized bolt knob with 70-degree throw was easy to work with, and the rifle shot well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another upgrade is the camo chassis which I prefer over solid color options. The stock comes with two front sling swivel studs and a rubber recoil pad. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
