Official reports say that Stenson sliced at Jennings&#8217; head with a box cutter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seeking to escape the onslaught, Jennings left the car and began to run away, at which time, Stenson tried to run him over with the vehicle.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jennings then ran to a home and let himself in. The homeowner, who had been watching television, was scared and reports say he dialed 911.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">SEE ALSO: <a with \u2018Final Rule,\u2019 Denies ATF Motion for \u2018Clarification\u2019<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Police say that at first, the homeowner and Jennings simply fought physically, but that the homeowner \u201cfeared for his life\u201d and, defending himself, fired three shots at Jennings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jennings was hit but was able to pull himself outside of the house, where he died.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Later it was announced that the homeowner would not be charged as he was simply defending himself while on his own property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stenson, the initial attacker, faces a charge of murder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOhio law states that if a person dies as a result of a felony, anyone involved in committing the felony can be charged with murder,&#8221; the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cincinnati.com\/story\/news\/crime\/2022\/09\/28\/woman-faces-murder-charge-tied-to-fatal-self-defense-shooting\/69524215007\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"woman-charged-with-murder-for-someone-elses-self-defense-shooting\" title=\"Woman Charged With Murder for Someone Else's Self-Defense Shooting!\">Cincinnati Enquirer<\/a> <\/em>explained. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stenson is being held on a $750,000 bond and has a court date in the near future.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\">**<a
