autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors is moving forward this week with plans to enact various gun control measures that will chill the 2A rights of law-abiding gun owners and place an undue burden on responsible gun dealers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the ordinances included in the motion authored by Supervisor Janice Hahn are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>A ban on the sale of .50 caliber handguns and .50 caliber ammunition\u00a0<\/li><li>The creation of \u201cbuffer zones\u201d between gun stores and \u201csensitive areas\u201d (schools, daycares, parks, etc.)<\/li><li>To make all Los Angeles County property a gun-free zone<\/li><li>Require gun stores to keep a fingerprint log, submit sales reports and inventory reports in real-time to the county board, install security cameras, limit minors\u2019 access and provide gun owners with information about the local laws.<\/li><li>Deny sales to individuals on the federal government\u2019s no-fly list \u00a0<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhen I was in Congress, we responded to horrific mass shootings with little more than moments of silence and thoughts and prayers,\u201d said Supervisor Hahn in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.loscerritosnews.net\/2022\/09\/13\/supervisors-vote-to-advance-new-gun-regulation-in-la-county\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"los-angeles-county-creating-buffer-zones-demanding-gun-shops-keep-fingerprint-logs\" title=\"Los Angeles County Creating 'Buffer Zones,' Demanding Gun Shops Keep Fingerprint Logs\">press release<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">SEE ALSO: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gunsamerica.com\/digest\/thieves-plow-car-into-gun-stores-steal-100-guns-in-two-days\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"los-angeles-county-creating-buffer-zones-demanding-gun-shops-keep-fingerprint-logs\" title=\"Los Angeles County Creating 'Buffer Zones,' Demanding Gun Shops Keep Fingerprint Logs\">Thieves Plow Car Into Gun Stores, Steal 100 Guns in Two Days<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI will not sit idly by when there is action that we can take to save lives,\u201d she continued. \u201cThese gun violence prevention measures are commonsense and are under our authority at the County level to implement.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Attorneys will be drafting up the details for each ordinance over the next three months.&nbsp;
