Suddaby\u00a0issued an opinion and order denying GOA\u2019s motion for a preliminary injunction against the State of New York\u2019s poorly named \u201cConcealed Carry Improvement Act.\u201d\u00a0 Although going into detail about how just about every aspect of the Concealed Carry Improvement Act (CCIA) is unconstitutional, the judge concluded that none of the plaintiffs had standing to challenge any aspect of the law.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This bad news comes after Gun Owners of America (GOA) and its nonprofit legal arm, Gun Owners Foundation (GOF), filed suit to challenge the constitutionality of the legislation&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/link.mediaoutreach.meltwater.com\/ls\/click?upn=8K5Wri0pbLgOz7Ya1AR-2BtFouYspimlOEkXkKogCTstw-2BA-2BE4vOzKL3GRe-2BQd2SnOfrtoyVQtUh8GXO0MxYvmBX5SIbTjgwdq-2BnJFbKiWKw0DNIQU9O8hlXbf0bkv47zBZXFzrwyxEsT41GofFfpLyg-3D-3D4PKN_5e1W5rlmjSliCVoePxvgR0q5V-2BYbHynJ0mZPVtltMZxvLyvgwRgEHTgeEHaLYJoEN-2FYcLJFMBu06Pvna-2ByAODdABk829dYz5n7UGJRLV9grvm0C2nFXDGNwlcmwa743ozlY0AA4IyMVX0ItcsosUqmgBqryXe7Ew9Tq18kwXiQoCjNXKg4z-2Fe3a2Cx49uuU-2FLcGAY6TnYvR5Ry41DFbLDEjdBz-2BGYPZNiH9Jmr-2FH8pC-2FzKh6c9fjyq8os-2FR57ATberPXOPyhAa4KZ28Mrm8yS5NfFFYqjWMj1OUQO6Bm6rhQQidMuzY8FXqz1eWiDJFO3bIZBdAIGUT-2BmkDFghh2RO6-2Fe-2FYFb3z5W-2BCDJYS4UekWLpeA0uF7bdJ5xn5gPV32-2BOauH-2B8-2FKU0aKnyVlLTApw-3D-3D\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"federal-judge-finds-nys-new-concealed-carry-law-to-be-patently-unconstitutional-but-allows-it-to-take-effect\" title=\"Federal Judge Finds NY\u2019s New Concealed Carry Law to Be Patently Unconstitutional, but Allows it to Take Effect\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">in July<\/a>.
