The trigger is your primary interface with your gun. Sure, grip and sights are important, but the trigger is where the shot breaks. The geometry of the trigger can be the difference between grace and disaster. One size fits all factory triggers may not feel right for you. Everybody has different hands and Armory Craft makes triggers to fit you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Armory Craft is famous for manufacturing performance SIG triggers. They make other amazing parts, but they are real experts at trigger design and SIG trigger design. In a market, awash with triggers, Armory Craft is in a league of its own. The Armory Craft trigger is a drop-in design that should require no fitting. The width is optimized to allow less side-to-side wiggle. They also make a great “Positive Reset” Trigger Return Spring (+10%) for $9.75 which is worth installing at the same time. Changing a trigger in a P320 does require some knowledge and skill. There are some excellent videos out there but this is a vital part that can affect safety and function. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am a P320 guy now, that is what I teach with and shoot mostly. The modularity and ease of mounting optics made it a no-brainer for me. The ubiquity of the 320 means after-market parts is abundant. Now you have to sift through all of the parts to get what you want. I found Armory Craft looking for their Sport Take-Down Lever and took a long look at their triggers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They make an adjustable straight trigger with a geometry that I really like. Milos, the owner and “craft” part of Armory Craft, said “Not so fast. Have you seen our Semi-Curved Trigger? Not everyone wants a straight trigger.” This was a new thing for me and I like new things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have tried both side by side, along with a lot of other triggers. The Semi-Curved trigger fills a niche for people who don’t like straight triggers but want improved geometry over the factory trigger. I like it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have been running both of these triggers and the Sport Take Down Lever on my training and class guns for six months now. I really like the triggers; they are a definite improvement over factory. I did not expect to like the slightly curved trigger, but the geometry shines through for a great feel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Armory Craft claims a thirty percent reduction in trigger pull weight with improved geometry. Perceptions vary on trigger pull. I experience a smooth and consistent pull that I prefer over the stock factory trigger (which is not a terrible trigger itself).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
