Man Rescues Man, Then Shoots Him in Self-Defense"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>By Roxroy Ballers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a strange turn of events, a 74-year-old South Carolina man ended up shooting another man in self-defense after rescuing the distressed individual from Lake Keowee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An incident report from the Oconee County Sheriff\u2019s Office <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oconeelaw.com\/post\/oconee-county-sheriff-s-office-provides-further-details-on-lake-keowee-shooting\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"bizarre-defensive-gun-use-man-rescues-man-then-shoots-him-in-self-defense\" title=\"Most Bizarre Defensive Gun Use? Man Rescues Man, Then Shoots Him in Self-Defense\">described<\/a> how a couple on a pontoon boat rescued 29-year-old Nathan Morgan and an unidentified woman who were not wearing life jackets after the two lost control of a jet ski on March 15.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the rescue, Morgan apparently began assaulting the rescuers when one of the women on board pushed him back into the water in an effort to de-escalate the situation.  It didn&#8217;t work.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After being pulled out again, Morgan continued to assault the couple onboard the pontoon boat.  The 79-year-old then fatally shot Morgan in the chest.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gunsamerica.com\/digest\/watch-armed-israeli-citizens-end-deadliest-terror-attack\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"bizarre-defensive-gun-use-man-rescues-man-then-shoots-him-in-self-defense\" title=\"Most Bizarre Defensive Gun Use?
