The Core Vision Industries AVS + ITS.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

First teased a few days before SHOT Show through Core Vision Industries’ Instagram page<\/a>, the Adaptable Vision System (AVS) with Integrated Thermal Solution (ITS) has now been officially announced. The teaser trailer is definitely worth the watch and can be found HERE.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

While this whole project is still in the works, Core Vision Industries is hoping to deliver by the end of 2022 with distribution aiming for a SHOT Show debut in 2023. Night Vision Inc. will be assembling the housings, and Core Vision Industries will be making them in-house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While many specifics are yet to be released in terms of final configurations, the final product will be modular. Currently, I believe Core Vision Industries is planning to allow users to choose which tubes and thermal sensors they will get with their unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A very cool feature of the AVS + ITS is that the thermal can be switched out. With just a mechanical button, users will be able to swap out the middle insert from different types of proprietary thermal sensors to LWIR to digital recorders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This unit also includes individual articulation and adjustable IPD locks. Core Vision Industries plans to also have the unit automatically power off when stowed back similar to PVS-31’s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When using thermal, users will have the option to view through the binos as a night vision only which should help conserve battery, they can also fuse the right tube with a black-hot, white-hot, outline, or thermal image only. The AVS + ITS can also function without a thermal insert if needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Designed and built in the USA, Core Vision Industries is changing the game with the more modular civilian-available equivalent to L3Harris’s ENVGB’s. While hard dates and prices haven’t been set, Nick from Core Vision said they were aiming for an MSRP for the AVS + ITS to be under 25K. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
