While people have become more familiar with carbon fiber gun barrels, Helix 6 Precision<\/a> is moving the needle. They are not only offering an amazing product with some incredible benefits but also working on some pretty cool collaborations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The secret sauce to Helix 6 is their proprietary process used in the creation of their barrels. They are able to achieve increased accuracy as well as a higher thermal capacity due to the way they layer their fibers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, they have managed to change the ratio of fiber to resin, from a common 50\/50 ratio to 70 percent fiber and 30 percent resin. With carbon being a conductor and resin an insulator, this lets the barrels shed heat faster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
