An ammunition company in Michigan is refusing to sell to customers who voted for Joe Biden, according to a recent announcement on its website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fenix Ammunition<\/a>, which began asking customers about their political leanings following the 2020 election, defended its decision on Twitter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAre we serious? Yes, we are serious. Joe Biden ran on a campaign built on the most radical gun control platform a major party candidate has ever had, including banning the online sale of ammunition. Essentially, a plan to bankrupt our company,\u201d the company said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The thread concluded: \u201cWe have no problem talking to Biden voters and educating them on what they did, but they have to be willing to acknowledge their ignorance at the very least. We’re not going to sit here and debate with you. We’re a 2A company and these are our first principles.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon visiting Fenix Ammunition\u2019s website<\/a>, users are posed with a question: \u201cDid you vote for Joe Biden.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Answering \u201cNo\u201d takes visitors to the Fenix website. Answering \u201cYes\u201d redirects to Joe Biden\u2019s gun control platform, which proposes ending the online sale of ammunition across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To gun owners who may have voted for Joe Biden for reasons other than his gun control platform, Fenix recommends they, \u201cimmediately sell any firearms you own out of solidarity.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fenix insists that they\u2019re willing to take a financial hit to take a stance on Biden\u2019s anti-gun agenda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe don’t want your money, and you shouldn’t want us to have it because we’re going to use it to make more ammo, sell it to the citizenry, and do everything in our power to prevent Joe Biden’s administration from usurping the rights of Americans,\u201d the company said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fenix isn\u2019t the first gun-related company this year to make a political statement by refusing service to Biden voters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe don\u2019t have guns or ammo for Biden Supporters. Sorry for the inconvenience,\u201d wrote Trigger Firearms and Reloading, LLC<\/a>, on its Facebook page January 20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fenix\u2019s Twitter announcement was met with a predictable mixture of support and opposition, but at least two Biden gun owners weighed in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One voiced his support for Fenix despite their stance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But another vowed not to purchase ammunition from Fenix if they were \u201cthe only store in the state.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A few lost customers aren\u2019t likely to hurt Fenix\u2019s bottom line. Like most ammunition companies in 2021, Fenix doesn\u2019t appear to be suffering from lack of consumer demand. Fenix offers some of the most popular handgun and rifle ammunition, and all their offerings appear to be sold out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOn average, our inventory has lasted only an hour or two when updated,\u201d the company posted on Twitter January 15. \u201cWe are doing our best to manufacture items as quickly as possible given the limited supply materials, but the demand FAR exceeds the supply.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company produces 9mm, .45ACP, 10mm, .223 Rem., and .300 Blackout for practice, competition, and self-defense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
