Elections have consequences, as they say.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For supporters of Joe Biden living in and around Jefferson City, Missouri, those consequences are being brought to a whole new level as one local gun store has announced that it will no longer be selling firearms or ammunition to those who backed 46 in the 2020 presidential election.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe don’t have guns or ammo for Biden Supporters. Sorry for the inconvenience,\u201d wrote Trigger Firearms and Reloading, LLC, on its Facebook page<\/a> last week.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The post went viral.  Facebook users shared it over 2,300 times!  It also received 5,600 reactions and over 4,500 comments, many of which seemed supportive of the new policy.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGood idea, don’t want firearms in the hands of the unhinged,\u201d wrote one commenter.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another promised to patronize the store, \u201cI\u2019ll spend my money with you. Do you have (normally) reloading supplies? I know in today\u2019s wold [sic], these supplies are difficult to find, but if you have any, particularly primers, lemme know. Who know [sic], maybe I\u2019ll even by [sic] a gun too.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some commenters expressed mixed feelings.  One man said, \u201cI\u2019m conflicted with this post. On one hand, I [sic] while I disagree with Democrats on almost everything, I don’t want to shun those few remaining Democrats that are pro-2A (about as common as unicorns, but there is[sic] a few).\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOn the other hand, businesses had no problem the past 4 years shunning Trump supporters, to the delight of the corrupt media and Liberals everywhere,\u201d he continued. \u201cAt the end of the day, it’s a private business, and the owner can decide whom he\/she sells to.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And, of course, there were more than a few detractors.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTrust me. We don’t want to shop at your store anyways lol,\u201d said one person.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While it\u2019s not exactly clear how ownership would determine who a customer voted for to enforce the sales ban (voluntary questionnaire? social media scan? polygraph?), what is clear is that this was a great publicity stunt.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like it or not, thousands of people are talking about Trigger Firearms and Reloading, LLC.  And that undoubtedly is a win for the store.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
