Two app developers were out duck hunting when a monstrous 13-foot alligator swam over to their birds and started gulping them down. Kevin Stipe and Cass Couey, developers of the Pro Hunt navigation app<\/a>, could only sit back and watch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Taxed,” they posted on Instagram. The video of the giant gator casually claiming ducks has gone viral across the major social media networks, earning the two and their app a lot of recognition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Here we go, number two of the day,” says one man in the video, while the alligator eats a second duck. “Ok, you’re fed, now get out of here.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eventually, the big gator left them alone, only for a smaller — but still huge — gator to sweep in, picking up where the larger one left off. “It was just another day in the swamp for us,” Couey told FOX 35 News<\/a>. “But I\u2019m glad people are loving it!”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pro Hunt<\/a> is one of two MiraTrex apps for Apple and Android devices. The app uses GPS to track hunters alone or in groups to help them navigate terrain and safely coordinate together. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It uses satellite, road and topographical maps that can be downloaded to the device for access well outside cellular data coverage. Hunters can also mark and save locations if they need to return to a site later on or for future outings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pro Hunt incorporates a compass for land navigation and users can synchronize their trips in real-time with each other. Hunters can also plan trips in advance and use the app to navigate at all hours. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Pro Hunt app is free, supported with in-app purchases. It will not, however, prevent giant predators from casually swallowing any game you take, whole. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
