<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proof Research, a leader in precision rifle barrel manufacturing, is expanding its line of bolt-action rifles with the new Conviction Ti<\/a>. The Conviction Ti is a lightweight tactical rifle built for long-range shooting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Depending on the configuration, the Conviction Ti can weigh as little as 6 pounds, 6 ounces and maxes out at a still-svelte 8 pounds, 2 ounces. Proof Research offers the rifle in a wide variety of chamberings from 6mm Creedmoor to .300 Remington Ultra Magnum, including popular cartridges like 6.5mm Creedmoor and .308 Winchester. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Built on a titanium receiver with a carbon fiber stock and carbon fiber barrel, the Conviction Ti doesn’t sacrifice accuracy in order to achieve its light weight. Proof guarantees sub-half MOA accuracy with their rifles with target ammo. The receiver is available in left- and right-handed actions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The Conviction Ti\u2019s lightweight carbon fiber stock and barrel are made with cutting-edge polymer technologies, coupled with a titanium receiver that is lighter than steel but even stronger than high-strength steel,” said Proof Research in their announcement. “The Conviction Ti is a superior rifle for consistent, long-range performance in the toughest environments.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tactical stock has a squared-off forend for an extended forward mount and uses an aggressively down-turned pistol grip. It has an adjustable cheekpiece to work with a wide range of scopes and scope mounts and seven sling mounting points, including three studs for hook slings and bipod and quick-detach sling sockets front and rear on both sides of the stock. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The receiver features an integral scope rail and the rifle comes with an adjustable TriggerTech trigger and Pachymayr recoil pad. Default stock color options include black, green and brown granite and other camo options are available including flat dark earth, urban black and grey, maritime blue and grey, jungle, desert and pink cotton candy camouflage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The standard Conviction Ti barrel length is 24 inches, but Proof will custom-build rifles with barrels from 20 to 28 inches long. The Conviction Ti uses a Sendero-profile barrel across the board. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
