Lee\nstatue that BLM activists believe should be taken down. Each group was heavily\narmed, but no violence was reported, and it doesn\u2019t appear that any arrests\nwere made. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The potentially explosive incident began when the boogaloo group, the BLM group, and a white nationalist group all gathered in the same area to protest. The boogaloo contingent was led by a 19-year-old named Mike Dunn, according to reporting from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2020\/07\/06\/887467436\/-were-willing-to-do-what-it-takes-causes-collide-in-richmond-s-streets\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"clickTracking\" campaign=\"boogaloo-black-lives-matter-groups-appear-armed-protest\" title=\"Boogaloo + Black Lives Matter? Groups Appear to Join Forces at Armed Protest\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">NPR<\/a>, and he welcomed the armed BLM group as fellow advocates for gun rights. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But the white nationalists began yelling \u201cHeil Hitler\u201d and goose-stepping, according to Dunn. The boogaloo group stopped the white nationalist before things turned violent, and Dunn later told the crowd that racist behavior is unacceptable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhen we saw that happen\u2026 I\u2019m not for that, and I don\u2019t\nthink many of you are. The police didn\u2019t stop them, and no\narrests were made, according to an eyewitness video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe locked in unity to come back and take what\u2019s ours,\u201d one\nof the protestors says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis is ours! This ain\u2019t the governors.
