Savage Arms unveiled an expanded 2020 lineup at this year’s SHOT Show including new centerfire rifles, rimfire rifles, and shotguns. The company’s Precision Series is a big part of its updated catalog with a solid selection of competition-ready options. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Savage is now going into production with the 110 Elite Precision, announced late 2019, a rifle made for long-range shooting out of the box. Based on the 110 Precision, the Elite Precision comes with a fully adjustable, modular M-Lok MDT ACC chassis and a lot more. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has a stainless steel barrel with a modified Palma profile, 20 MOA scope rail and an AccuTrigger that can be set as low as 1.5 pounds. The chassis has a Cerakote finish, while the receiver is black nitrided with a titanium nitride bolt. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 110 Elite Precision comes with an extended 26-inch barrel on the short action models and a 30-inch barrel on the long action models. These are substantial rifles ideal for bench shooting that weigh between 12 and 15 pounds depending on the configuration. The short action models sport a 2-port muzzle brake while the long-action versions are threaded for standard aftermarket muzzle devices. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Priced starting at $1,999 these are competitive, especially considering the chassis alone retails for over $1,000. Savage will offer the Elite Precision chambered for .308 Winchester, 6mm and 6.5mm Creedmoor, .300 Winchester Magnum and .338 Lapua Magnum. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Going along with the centerfire Precision guns Savage is offering a set of rimfire rifles as well, equipped with Savage-exclusive adjustable MDT chassis. These are also configured for long-range shooting, just on a smaller scale. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rimfire models include an A22 semi-automatic rifle chambered for .22 Long Rifle–for now–as well as a B-Series Precision rifle chambered for .22 LR, .17 Hornady Magnum Rimfire or .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire. All of the rimfire rifles carry a $599 suggested retail price and feature extended bolt handles, adjustable triggers and one-piece rails for optics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, that wasn’t everything new from Savage this year. The company was showing off its new Renegauge family<\/a> of premium semi-automatic shotguns in Field, Turkey and Waterfowl packages. These gas-operated shotguns are chambered for 3-inch magnum 12-gauge shells and come with fully adjustable stocks as well, with the suggested price of $1,549.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Savage was also showing off the improved 110 Ultralite, with a PROOF Research carbon fiber barrel and a dry weight of just 6 pounds. It has a black nitride receiver, an adjustable AccuTrigger fire control group and AccuFit stock. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 110 Ultralight is offered in a range of popular chamberings from .270 and .308 Winchester all the way up to .300 Winchester Short Magnum, all priced at $1,499. Of course with all of Savage’s products, in-store and online pricing is sure to be less than MSRP. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
