Kriss USA<\/a> has released a new Vector; but this time, it is chambered for .22 LR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At SHOT Show 2020 Media Day at the Range, we got to shoot these new 22s, and tell you the absolute truth… We love ’em! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are two models currently available, one is a braced pistol and the other is a rifle. Kriss calls them the Vector 22 SDP-SB and Vector 22 CRB, respectively. The only difference between the two is the length of barrel and forend, as well as the pistol having an SB Tactical SBX-K brace as opposed to a rifle stock. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here at the receiver, you can’t even tell the pistol apart from the rifle.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This new .22 LR vector does not operate on a non-linear bolt for a simple reason: .22 LR does not have enough recoil to do this. Basically, when you buy a Vector CRB, you are getting everything amazing about a Kriss Vector, except this. And of course, the fire control group differs for the .22 LRs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here, we are taking a look into the action. The breech face is getting a bit dirty after being shot thousands of times during Range Day!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everything else is the same: all external accessories for the Vector line are compatible with these new .22 LRs. As for colors, they come in white, black, and FDE variants. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, there are only 10 round magazines available, but expect to see 30 rounders soon! Both models also feature threaded barrels, last round bolt hold, low profile flip sights, and an ambidextrous safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The new Vectors will ship to dealers in mid-February so consumers can expect to see them by the end of next month. Both versions have an MSRP of $649.00, so real-world pricing should be around $600. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
